Conceptual Dance- and Performance Art for the Theatrical Stage and Gallery Space

Ellinor Ljungkvist is a 31 year old Swedish based dancer and choreographer. She has been studying contemporary dance, performance art and choreography in Austria, Germany and Sweden at known educations for arts as Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin and University for Dance and Circus Stockholm.

She has presented her own produced dance- and performances pieces in Central Europe, Scandinavia, Philippines and Russia in the last 4 years on a regular base. In the last two years she has as well began to teach class /workshop in dance, choreography, performance and composition at higher education as a guest teacher.

Ellinor´s work is recognisable for its combination of contemporary dance and conceptual performance art. She often perform her self in her own work as in her solo pieces, but she has as well choreographed duets together with other performers were Ellinor have formulated and developed the concept.

Next upcoming dance- and performance piece is a group piece with a selection of dancers and performers within the field. Each performer is invited to develop a solo, which later on will be composed into a group-constellation.

Ellinor´s pieces fits very well for the museum and gallery environment - A motivation to be in contact with curators from institutions as such.

In the credit of the photo-documentation of the pieces there is a link to the video documentation to see the actual performance.
